Based
in Joseph on the beautiful Wallowa
Lake in North Eastern Oregon, JayZee Lumber specializes in custom milling
utilizing hand selected logs obtained from sustainable wood sources in the
area.
Timbers
sourced from the area are renowned for their higher density qualities than their
more western counterparts. This is due to the shorter growing season. This
short growing season ensures a tighter grain to create a harder and more durable
end product.
Western
Larch (Tamarack), Douglas Fir, Pine, Blued Pine, Grand Fir and Spruce are
sourced locally and are crafted into magnificent
wide plank flooring,
rustic beams,
mantelpieces,
slabs,
boards and into a variety of other products to client specifications.
No project
is too large or too small so please contact us to discuss your requirements and
to obtain detailed pricing.
Other
services available include kiln drying, pre-commercial thinning, logging,
archway erection (supply of logs and construction), acquisition of logs to
customer specifications and custom cutting of your logs or ours as desired.
New to JayZee Lumber, is the production of Cabin Kits.

Jim has a lifetime of experience in the timber industry and has a commitment to
milling the highest quality products from wood selected in ways that maintain or
restore the health of the forests.
